The Quote Status Request message is used in markets that employ tradeable or restricted tradeable quotes, for the following reasons:

For the issuer of a quote to query the status of that quote, using QuoteID (117) to specify the target quote
To subscribe and unsubscribe to Quote Status Report <35=AI> messages for one or more securities
